The Big Easy Blog Tour Questions:
1. What are you working on?
I have probably 4 stories in some state or another. I don't, won't, can't--work on only one thing at a time.
2. How does my work differ from others in the same genre?
I don't know that I'm much different. Maybe my sense of humor? I find smart-ass and sarcastic retorts funny and they tend to come out in my dialogue.
3. Why do I write what I do?
I write what I do, because that's what I see in my imagination. :)
4. How does my writing process work?
There's a process?! *runs in a circle, flailing my arms* This is not good! This is NOT GOOD! LOL! I'm a pantser. The most planning I've ever done was on Gunning for Marie, my newest release. And that was only names and the barest notes. I think I looked at it once or twice after I started writing. I like sitting in the backseat of a vehicle parked in the garage to write. I get so much more done without the distraction of kids and television.
Several
years after the third World War, resources are scarce. The poor are
poorer and the middle class doesn't exist anymore. A man with resources
travels from city to town buying teenagers from desperate parents and
orphanages. The teens are educated, fed and clothed as appropriate for
their end purpose, Soldier or Breeder.A strong, young woman, Marie Rice, falls for Gunnar Lincoln. Their attraction is forbidden, Marie meant for someone else. Disturbing events on the island lead to Gunnar and Marie looking for a way to escape and save everyone else. While they bide their time, attraction turns to something stronger. Will they escape? Will they save the others?
